Learn how you can get €4800 towards a brand new website in Malta!
Attention Businesses of Malta! Did you know you can get €4800 towards a brand new website?
Business Enhance Malta have €4800 up for grabs to build a new e-commerce website or upgrade your existing site. The E-commerce Grant Scheme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). According to the latest government figures, only 14% of businesses in Malta are trading online. The E-commerce Grant Scheme aims to encourage and support enterprises on the island to increase their competitiveness by adding online sales to their business.
First off, what is e-commerce? In simple terms, this means having an online store, where you can sell goods. E-commerce allows you to reach an entirely new customer base, both in Malta and abroad. Operating on a global scale allows you to reach and engage a much broader target audience. It opens up more opportunities to grow your customer base, run the business from anywhere in the world, grow your brand, and see profits long before your local competitors do.
Having an online presence in 2022 is no longer something optional; it’s an expectation.
Having an e-commerce presence, also allows your store to remain open 24/7. Unlike brick-and-mortar stores that usually have set working hours, your e-commerce website will have no time restrictions. This in turn will maximise your sales and profits, as you will no longer be limited to your store’s opening hours. Having an online presence in 2022 is no longer something optional; it’s an expectation. Your e-commerce website is the perfect way to tell your brand’s story and build your reputation.
